Pilot Point Texas platted in 1853 on Christmas day. Its name was derived from one of the highest points in the area that was used to overlook the crossing of the Trinity River.  It’s a very special place, located in Denton County with the perfect blend of old and new. There’s Antique shops and two great shopping centers. There’s a modern medical complex and arguably one of the best small town libraries in the state. Pilot Point has excellent schools and is growing and is definitely a great place to live!
